The butterfly is symbolic of our psyche or soul, here it is surrounded by a serpent eating it's own tail, known as an ouroboros - the ancient symbol of eternity.

Text reads in Greek 'it never dies' implying that the soul is forever.

Handcrafted from a 19th century wax seal.

Materials: Silver, Gold, Gold vermeil

Gold vermeil is a thick layer of 24k gold over a solid sterling silver base.

Pendant: Approx 5/8" x 1/2" {15mm x 13mm}
