Strength and Freedom – Silver Lion and Boar Wax Seal Pendant

A lion carries a boar’s head, embodying courage, resolve, and the power of hard-won victory. This bold image reflects the strength it takes to overcome adversity and the dignity that follows when freedom is earned, not granted.

Based on a mid-19th-century British wax seal, this pendant bears the Latin word Libertas, meaning “freedom.” In this context, it speaks to the kind of liberty that comes through conviction, effort, and self-reliance. A crest of defiance and quiet pride, it honors those who meet life head-on.

Cast in solid sterling silver and finished with care in our small studio in Nova Scotia. Comes with a meaning card that shares the origin of the seal.
