During the Victorian era flowers often bore hidden messages to those who received them. Sentiments such as longing, bashfulness, and true love could be conveyed through the flowers given & received.
Handcrafted from the impression of an early 19th century French wax seal set, this pendant features a Pansy.
The name "pansy" is derived from the French word pensée, "thought". Giving rise to it's symbolism of remembrance reminding the receiver to think of the giver.
