Five-Fold Cross, also known as Crusaders' or Five-fold Cross. This Heraldic or Christian symbol consists of a large cross surrounded by four smaller Greek crosses, one in each quadrant. The symbolism of the five-fold cross is, variously, given as the five wounds of Christ, Christ and the four quarters of the world, Christ and the four evangelists. This pendant was handcrafted from a French wax seal dating to the late 1700’s.

The pendant I ordered is beautiful and matches the description and images perfectly! As it was a Christmas gift, shipping time was an important factor (and I’m in the UK) and the item arrived with time to spare! Obviously please be responsible in planning your timing, but the seller was very prompt. I had a request regarding the jump ring size and the seller very kindly accommodated this request. My package also came with an explanation card (love this, I’m a big history nerd), a cleaning cloth with instructions, and a seller card with a kind note. The pendant also came in a very nice little pouch. Very, very happy with my purchase!
