Bend, Don't break - Aesops Fables

Mieux vaut rompre que plier { Bend, Don't break }

From Aesop's Fable of 'The Oak & the Reeds'; an oak and reed were arguing about their strength. A strong wind came up, the reed avoided being uprooted by bending and moving with the gusts. The oak stood firm and was torn up by the roots. Nature shows that it's better to bend than break. Handcrafted using the impression of a wax seal from the 1820's.
