Collection of 10 antique Georgian and Victorian wax seal impressions - Early Hot air balloon and Heraldic Crests
Sold Out$ 80.00 USD
Collection of 10 antique wax seal impressions from Britain, dating to the early 1800's. Mostly Heraldic Crests These are all fabulous, but there is one seal impression in here I think is absolutely wonderful, It's of a Hot Air Balloon! The first hot air balloon flight was in 1783, this seal would have been made in the early years of something that people would have thought magical at the time (and many still do!) Another favorite is the hourglass above a wing, signifying that 'time is on the wing' or time flies.
Perfect for showcasing on a wall, or for molding to make wax seal jewelry with.
These would look lovely framed. See these photos on my instagram, to see what some of my framed seals look like:
There are cracks in these seals which is to be expected for their age. These cracks run right through the them in many cases, and may come apart sometimes. Please look at photos closely for condition.
