Oak Strength Necklace - 'Bend Don't Break' in Gold Vermeil

Mieux vaut rompre que plier { Bend, Don't break }
From Aesop's Fable of 'The Oak & the Reeds'; an oak and reed were arguing about their strength. A strong wind came up, the
reed avoided being uprooted by bending and moving with the gusts. The oak stood firm and was torn up by the roots. Nature shows that it's better to bend than break. Handcrafted using the impression of a wax seal from the 1820's.

Pendant: 3/4" x 5/8" (18mm x 17mm)
Materials: Silver, Gold, Gold vermeil
Gold vermeil is a thick layer of real gold over solid sterling silver, it offers the look and feel of solid gold at an affordable price.

Each Plum and Posey wax seal design arrives accompanied by it's own meaning card, and tucked into an elegant jewelry bag ready for gift giving.

PLEASE NOTE: Before you order please check sizing information - it can be hard to gauge jewelry sizes from pictures alone. On some of the seals the text is so small as to be read only with a magnifying glass making the meaning a secret between you and those you choose to tell.
