Thistle - 'Believe in yourself' in Bronze
£77.00 - £111.00£0.00
Bronze Thistle ~ You dinna ken what may betide ye yet
This seal features a thistle and the phrase ‘You dinna ken what may betide ye yet’ meaning that the future is unwritten and anything is still possible.
Handcrafted using a British wax seal from the early 19th century
Materials: Bronze pendant with sterling silver jump-ring (All chains are sterling silver)
Size: 11/16" x 7/8" (18mm x 22mm)
☆ The chain shown in the images is an antiqued sterling silver rolo chain - my suggested choice for this piece.
About Bronze
Bronze jewelry has a warm luster and a lovely rich antique gold color. Over time it will form a dark patina, this gives each piece its own individual, organic, and antiqued finish. If you prefer you can always bring back its original shiny finish with a jewelry polishing cloth.
PLEASE NOTE: Before you order please check sizing information - it can be hard to gauge jewelry sizes from pictures alone. On some of the seal pieces the text is so small as to be read only with a magnifying glass making the meaning a secret between you and those you choose to tell.

The necklace is beautiful, and I have gotten tons of compliments on it!

I am in love with the thistle pendant. It has a very sentimental meaning to me. My first job when I arrived to London was a cleaner or room service maid in the Thistle Group hotel. That was 24 years ago. I am now a nurse consultant with masters degree and a lead for the department. I just passed another uni course and acquired additional speciality. I was looking for pendant as a gift to myself when I came across this pendant which has so much meaning to me. Thank you for posting it so fast. I am a bit worried about the precaution not to shower or sweat with it as I will be wearing it every day. But it's really unusual, beautiful and so far shiny too! Thank you

I'm quite pleased with this piece, although I do wish it were maybe a bit bigger because the tiny text is almost impossible to make out (I realize that's probably not possible due to the nature of the product), however, that's not keeping me from enjoying it!

This is my fifth pendant and I continue to be thrilled by the design, quality and craftsmanship of each piece. The pieces are so meaningful , and inspiring reminders of what came before and what can propell us forward . Thank you. I get many compliments. This is a gift for a friend. I have no doubts it will become a favorite of hers too.

Very beautiful piece. Shipping was very fast, took only a little over a week from ordering in the dead of winter which is impressive turn around time. Overall I really love it, it is exactly what I hoped. The text is very small but legible, the thistle is prominent. It is perfect! Thank you so much!

This is a really beautiful piece that looks and feels like an heirloom. It is more than I usually would spend on jewelry for myself, but the image and words were very meaningful to me. I love that it's handmade. The words are so tiny that they're like a secret for only you to know, but the detail level is exquisite. It also has a nice heft to it when you hold it. The 18" length was perfect for me.

Awesome! Recommend seller to others.
