A tiny bee gathers nectar from a thistles flowers, above in Latin it reads ‘Dulcius ex asperis’ or ‘Sweeter after difficulties’. Bees, in heraldry, symbolize diligence and tireless effort, hard work and industry. Handcrafted using an English wax seal dating from the 1830’s.

I am absolutely in love with this pendant. The quality is phenomenal! I will definitely be buying from the shop again in the future. My only complaint about this pendant is the fact that the little ring that connects the pendant to the necklace chain isn’t soldered shut. But other than that I have no complaints at all. I’m so so so I. Love with this necklace

So pretty! This Canadian/Scottish girl has been looking for a thistle pendant for some time. I didn't find what I was looking for in Scotland surprisingly this past autumn. I will be so happy to wear this when I go back in a few months. The pendant is exactly the same as the image.

Very lovely little pendant. Only issue I've had is not on the creator, but the O ring that would hold the chain is too small if the chain has a ball on the end. You'll need a chain that has a flat section where the clasp connects or a smaller ball if the chain has one. Otherwise, it's beautiful!
