Skull Wax Seal Cufflinks with French Text ~ J'ai été, le suis, tu seras ~ As you are so once was I, As I am so you will be. Skulls, in heraldry, represent mortality, a reminder that we all come to the same end no matter the path we take to arrive there. They are meant to give the bearer a reason to live their lives to the best of their abilities each and every day, as if it is their very last.
