Hand-forged sterling silver wire cuff bangle with a centered anchor seal
Anchor ~ L'Espérance me soutient {Hope sustains me}
Handcrafted using the impression of an 1820’s French wax seal, this cuff bracelet features an anchos with the text ‘L'Espérance me soutient’ or ‘Hope sustains me’. The Anchor remains firm & steady in stormy seas and represents well-grounded hope.
Seal: Approx 1/2" to 5/8" (13mm x 16mm)
Cuff diameter is approximately 2 3/4" across (this can be gently adjusted) and is open, so can fit many sizes of wrist.
PLEASE NOTE: Before you order please check sizing information - it can be hard to gauge jewelry sizes from pictures alone. On some of the very small seal pieces the text is so small as to be read only with a magnifying glass making the meaning a secret between you and those you choose to tell.
This piece is a cuff that is meant to sit more like a bangle.
Can be easily sized up or down, just gently squeeze or open as needed.
To put on: Press against the thinnest part of your wrist on the side, and slide over the bone. You may need to gently squeeze it closed a touch. Remove in the same way.
